Zakir Hussain's childhood was spent in Mumbai. From the age of 12, Zakir Hussain started spreading the sound of his tabla in the world of music. After his early education and college, Zakir Hussain started establishing himself in the field of art. His first album, Living in the Material World, came out in 1973. After that, as Zakir Hussain decided that he would spread the sound of his tabla all over the world. From 1973 to 2007, Zakir Hussain continued to show his Tabla power in various international festivals and albums. Zakir Hussain is very famous in India as well as equally popular in different parts of the world. / ज़ाकिर हुसैन का बचपन मुंबई में ही बीता। 12 साल की उम्र से ही ज़ाकिर हुसैन ने संगीत की दुनिया में अपने तबले की आवाज़ को बिखेरना शुरू कर दिया था। प्रारंभिक शिक्षा और कॉलेज के बाद ज़ाकिर हुसैन ने कला के क्षेत्र में अपने आप को स्थापित करना शुरू कर दिया। 1973 में उनका पहला एलबम लिविंग इन द मैटेरियल वर्ल्ड आया था। उसके बाद तो जैसे ज़ाकिर हुसैन ने ठान लिया कि अपने तबले की आवाज़ को दुनिया भर में बिखेरेंगे। 1973 से लेकर 2007 तक ज़ाकिर हुसैन विभिन्न अंतरराष्ट्रीय समारोहों और एलबमों में अपने तबले का दम दिखाते रहे। ज़ाकिर हुसैन भारत में तो बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध हैं साथ ही साथ ही विश्व के विभिन्न हिस्सों में भी समान रूप से लोकप्रिय हैं।
