Vijay Ghat is the memorial of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India. Vijay means victory and his memorial was named after the victory that led India against Pakistan in 1965.

The memorial marks the place where Shastri was cremated and prayers are offered every year on the occasion of his birth and death year. Many international heads of state and dignitaries visit Vijay Ghat to pay their respects to this great leader.  / विजय घाट भारत के दूसरे प्रधानमंत्री लाल बहादुर शास्त्री का स्मारक है। विजय का मतलब जीत है और उनके स्मारक का नाम उस जीत के नाम पर रखा गया था, जिसने 1965 में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ भारत का नेतृत्व किया था।
