Ans. (b) : The name Mohenjo-daro is reputed to signify “the mound of the dead.” The archaeological importance of the site was first recognized in 1922, one year after the discovery of Harappa. Subsequent excavations revealed that the mounds contain the remains of what was once the largest city of the Indus Civilization. It is in Sindh province of Pakistan. /  मोहनजोदड़ो नाम का अर्थ "मृतकों का टीला" माना जाता है। इस स्थल के पुरातात्विक महत्व को पहली बार हड़प्पा की खोज के एक साल बाद 1922 में पहचाना गया था। बाद की खुदाई से पता चला कि टीलों में उस स्थान के अवशेष हैं जो कभी सिंधु सभ्यता का सबसे बड़ा शहर था। यह पाकिस्तान के सिंध प्रांत में है.
