The Buddhist Sites Vaishali & Nalanda are situated in Bihar. Vaishali is an important Buddhist pilgrim site as Lord Buddha spent 5 years of his life here before announcing his Mahaparinirvana. He also delivered his last sermon here. Nalanda was an acclaimed Mahavihara, a large Buddhist monastery in ancient kingdom of Magadha. It was a centre of learning from 5th century CE to 1200 CE.

बौद्ध स्थल वैशाली और नालंदा बिहार में स्थित हैं। वैशाली एक महत्वपूर्ण बौद्ध तीर्थ स्थल है क्योंकि भगवान बुद्ध ने अपने महापरिनिर्वाण की घोषणा से पहले अपने जीवन के 5 वर्ष यहीं बिताए थे। वह भी यहीं अपना अंतिम उपदेश दिया। नालंदा एक प्रशंसित महाविहार था, जो मगध के प्राचीन साम्राज्य में एक बड़ा बौद्ध मठ था। यह 5वीं शताब्दी ई. से 1200 ई. तक शिक्षा का केंद्र था।
