Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti was the founder of the Sufiorder in India. The Chistī order was founded by Abu Ishaq Shami (“the Syrian”) in Chisht, some 95 miles east of Herat in present-day western Afghanistan. Moinuddin Chisti established the order in India, in the city of Ajmer in North India./ख्वाजा मोइनुद्दीन चिश्ती भारत में सूफी संप्रदाय के संस्थापक थे। चिश्ती सिलसिले की स्थापना अबू इशाक शामी (“सीरियाई”) ने वर्तमान पश्चिमी अफगानिस्तान में हेरात से लगभग 95 मील पूर्व में चिश्त में की थी। मोइनुद्दीन चिश्ती ने भारत में उत्तर भारत के अजमेर शहर में व्यवस्था की स्थापना की।
