साबरमती नदी का उद्गम राजस्थान के उदयपुर जिले में अरावली श्रंखला के दक्षिण भाग मे स्थित धेबार झील से होता है। यह राजस्थान के उदयपुर, और गुजरात के साबरकांठा,मेहसाना,गांधीनगर, अहमदाबाद और आनंद जिलों से होकर दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा की ओर बहती है, और ३७१ किलोमीटर का सफर तय करने के बाद यह अरब सागर की खंभात की खाड़ी में गिर जाती है। / The Sabarmati River originates from the Dhebar Lake located in the southern part of the Aravalli range in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. It flows in a south-westerly direction through Udaipur in Rajasthan, and Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad and Anand districts of Gujarat, and after traveling a distance of 371 km, falls into the Gulf of Khambhat in the Arabian Sea.

  

साबरमती पश्चिम की ओर बहने वाली भारत की प्रमुख नदियों में एक है। इसकी कुल लंबाई ३७१ किलोमीटर है, जिसमें से ४८ किलोमीटर राजस्थान में, और गुजरात ३२३ किलोमीटर में है / Sabarmati is one of the major west flowing rivers of India. Its total length is 371 km, of which 48 km is in Rajasthan, and 323 km in Gujarat.
