6 अगस्त, 1945 को हिरोशिमा पर एक यूरेनियम बंदूक-प्रकार का परमाणु बम (लिटिल बॉय) गिराया गया था। इसके बाद 9 अगस्त, 1945 को नागासाकी शहर पर एक प्लूटोनियम इम्प्लोजन-प्रकार का बम (फैट मैन) गिराया गया था। जुड़वां बम विस्फोटों का नेतृत्व किया द्वितीय युद्ध में जापान के आत्मसमर्पण के लिए।

06 अगस्त 1945 को अमेरिका ने जापान के शहर हिरोशिमा पर पहला परमाणु बम गिराया. ना केवल जापान इससे दहल गया बल्कि सारी दुनिया थर्रा उठी. इसके 03 दिन बाद फिर नागासाकी पर भी बम गिराया गया. लाखों लोग एक ही झटके मारे गए. उससे भी बम के कारण हुए विकिरण से मारे जाते रहे. ये हादसा 76 साल पहले हुआ था. लेकिन ये ऐसी घटना है जो भुलाए नहीं भुलती.

इस बम के बाद ही एशिया में द्वितीय युद्ध का खात्मा औपचारिकता रह गई. जापानी सेनाओं ने पीछे हटना शुरू कर दिया. करीब एक हफ्ते बाद ही जापान ने मित्र देशों के गठबंधन के सामने आत्मसमर्पण भी कर दिया.

क्या हुआ था 6 अगस्त को

6 अगस्त 1945 को ही हिरोशिमा में सुबह 8.15 के समय अमेरिका के बी29 बॉम्बर एनोला गे ने लिटिल बॉय नाम का परमाणु गिराया था जिसमें 20 हजार टन के टीएनटी से भी ज्यादा बल था.

इस समय शहर के बहुत सारे लोग काम पर जा रहे थे. बच्चे भी स्कूल पहुंच चुके थे. एक अमेरिकी सर्वे के मुताबिक यह बम शहर के केंद्र के ही पास गिराया गया था, जिससे 80 हजार लोग मारे गए. इतने ही घायल हुए.

तीन दिन बाद एक और बम

इसके तीन दिन बाद ही एक और परमाणु बम जिससे फैट मैन कहा जाता है नागासाकी के ऊपर सुबह 11 बजे गिराया जिसमें 40 हजार लोग मारे गए. सर्वे के मुताबिक नागासाकी में नुकसान बहुत कम हुआ क्योंकि यह बम एक घाटी में गिरा और उसी वजह से उसका असर ज्यादा नहीं फैला. इसका असल केवल 1.8 वर्ग मील तक ही हुआ.

चेतावनी भी दी गई थी

ट्रूमन ने जापान को चेताया था कि अगर वो समर्पण नहीं किया तो अमेरिका जापान के किसी भी शहर को पूरी तरह से नेस्तोनाबूद करने के लिए तैयार है. अगर जापान ने उनकी शर्तों को नहीं माना तो वे हवा में बर्बादी की बारिश देखने के लिए तैयार रहे. उन हालातों में जापान ने कोई समझौता नहीं किया. फिर अमेरिका ने बम गिराने का फैसला कर 6 अगस्त को हिरोशिमा पर और 9 अगस्त को नागासाकी पर परमाणु बम गिरा दिए.

Another bomb after three days

Three days later, another atomic bomb called Fat Man was dropped on Nagasaki at 11 am in which 40 thousand people were killed. According to the survey, the damage in Nagasaki was very less because this bomb fell in a valley and due to that its effect did not spread much. Its reality was only up to 1.8 square miles.

Warning was given

Truman warned Japan that the US was ready to completely destroy any Japanese city if it did not surrender. If Japan did not accept their conditions, they were prepared to see the rain of waste in the air. In those circumstances, Japan did not compromise. Then the US decided to drop the bomb and dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima on 6 August and Nagasaki on 9 August.
