Explanation / व्याख्या :-

The central government expenditure itself is divided into two parts –plan expenditure and non-plan expenditure. Non Plan Expenditure is money that’s spent on sustaining the country like defense, postal deficit, subsidies etc. and Plan Expenditure is the money that is spent on improving the country like the money spent on dams, roads etc. Interest Payments and Debt Servicing comprise more than 30 per cent of this expenditure. / केंद्र सरकार का व्यय स्वयं दो भागों में विभाजित होता है-योजना व्यय और गैर-योजना व्यय। गैर योजना व्यय वह धन है जो रक्षा, डाक घाटा, सब्सिडी आदि जैसे देश को बनाए रखने पर खर्च किया जाता है और योजना व्यय वह धन है जो देश को बेहतर बनाने के लिए खर्च किया जाता है जैसे बांधों, सड़कों आदि पर खर्च किया गया धन। ब्याज भुगतान और ऋण सेवा में अधिक शामिल हैं इस खर्च का 30 प्रतिशत से अधिक।
