Right to equality is given under article 14 of Indian constitution. It ensures that every citizen shall be likewise protected by the laws of the country. It means that the State will not distinguish any of the Indian citizens on the basis of their gender, caste, creed, religion or even the place of birth. / भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14 के तहत समानता का अधिकार दिया गया है। यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि प्रत्येक नागरिक को भी देश के कानूनों द्वारा संरक्षित किया जाएगा। इसका मतलब है कि राज्य किसी भी भारतीय नागरिक को उनके लिंग, जाति, पंथ, धर्म या यहां तक कि जन्म स्थान के आधार पर अलग नहीं करेगा।
