The third was Justice Ruma Pal who became a Supreme Court judge in 2000 and continues to hold office. / जस्टिस फातिमा बीवी भारत के सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पहली महिला जज थीं, जिनका कार्यकाल 6 अक्टूबर 1989 से 29 अप्रैल 1992 तक रहा। दूसरी जस्टिस सुजाता वी मनोहर थीं, 8 नवंबर 1994 से 27 अगस्त 1999 तक। तीसरी जस्टिस थीं। रुमा पाल जो 2000 में सुप्रीम कोर्ट की जज बनीं और इस पद पर बनी हुई हैं।
