Article 280 of the Constitution of India requires the Constitution of a Finance Commission every five years, or earlier. It is established by President of India. It consists of a chairman and four other members to be appointed by the president. The first finance commission was established in 1951. / भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 280 में हर पांच साल या उससे पहले एक वित्त आयोग के गठन की आवश्यकता है। इसकी स्थापना भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा की जाती है। इसमें एक अध्यक्ष और चार अन्य सदस्य होते हैं जिन्हें राष्ट्रपति द्वारा नियुक्त किया जाता है। पहला वित्त आयोग 1951 में स्थापित किया गया था।
