प्रकाश वर्ष (lightyear), जो प्रव (ly) द्वारा चिन्हित करा जाता है, लम्बाई की एक मापन इकाई है। यह लगभग 95 खरब (9.5 ट्रिलियन) किलोमीटर की होती है। अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय खगोलीय संघ के अनुसार, एक प्रकाश वर्ष वह दूरी है जो प्रकाश अपने निर्वात में एक वर्ष में पूरा कर लेता है। यह इकाई मुख्यत: लम्बी दूरियों यथा दो तारों या गैलेक्सी जैसी अन्य खगोलीय वस्तुओं की बीच की दूरी मापने में प्रयोग की जाती है।
