The All India Services comprises Civil Services of India, namely the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Forest Service and the Indian Police Service. A common unique feature of the All India Services is that the members of these services are recruited by the Union government, but their services are placed under various State cadres, and they have the liability to serve both under the State and under the Centre. / अखिल भारतीय सेवाओं में भारत की सिविल सेवाएं, अर्थात् भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा, भारतीय वन सेवा और भारतीय पुलिस सेवा शामिल हैं। अखिल भारतीय सेवाओं की एक सामान्य अनूठी विशेषता यह है कि इन सेवाओं के सदस्यों की भर्ती केंद्र सरकार द्वारा की जाती है, लेकिन उनकी सेवाओं को विभिन्न राज्य संवर्गों के तहत रखा जाता है, और उनके पास राज्य और केंद्र दोनों के तहत सेवा करने का दायित्व होता है।
