There are two types of hormones estrogen and progesterone hormone in men and testosterone hormone in women. There is an effect on the throat (throat) due to the testosterone hormone. It causes a change in the length and width of the larynx inside the throat, due to which there is a heaviness in the voice when the size of the larynx is opened, whereas in women, due to the lack of this hormone, there is no such change in their larynx, due to which their There is a heaviness in the voice. It is also important to know here that this hormone does not have the same effect in every man. Therefore, it is not necessary that due to the effect of hormones, the voice of all men will be heavy in the same proportion.
पुरुषों में टेस्टोस्टेरॉन हॉर्मोन व महिलाओं में दो तरह के हॉर्मोन एस्ट्रोजन व प्रोजेस्टेरॉन हॉर्मोन बनते हैं। टेस्टोस्टेरॉन हॉर्मोन के कारण कंठ (गले) पर प्रभाव पड़ता है। यह गले के भीतर की कंठ नलियों की लम्बाई व चौड़ाई में बदलाव पैदा करता है, जिससे कंठ का आकार खुलने पर आवाज में भारीपन आ जाता है, जबकि महिलाओं में यह हॉर्मोन न बनने के कारण उनके कंठ में ऐसा कोई बदलाव नहीं आता, जिससे उनकी आवाज में भारीपन पैदा होता हो। यहाँ यह बात जान लेना भी जरूरी है कि प्रत्येक पुरुष में यह हॉर्मोन समान प्रभाव नही डालता है। अतः यह आवश्यक नही है कि हॉर्मोन के प्रभाव से सभी पुरुषों की आवाज एक ही अनुपात में भारी होती होगी।
