Explanation / व्याख्या :-

As laid down in the Constitution of India, the Audit Reports, after approval of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, are presented to the President of India or Governors of the States for laying before the Parliament or the State Legislatures as the case may be. Public Accounts Committee (PAC) takes up the Audit Report for examination. The CAG acts as the “friend, philosopher and guide” for the PAC. / जैसा कि भारत के संविधान में निर्धारित किया गया है, भारत के नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक के अनुमोदन के बाद, लेखा परीक्षा रिपोर्ट, भारत के राष्ट्रपति या राज्यों के राज्यपालों को संसद या राज्य विधानमंडलों के समक्ष रखने के लिए प्रस्तुत की जाती है, जैसा भी मामला हो . लोक लेखा समिति (पीएसी) जांच के लिए लेखापरीक्षा रिपोर्ट लेती है। सीएजी पीएसी के लिए “मित्र, दार्शनिक और मार्गदर्शक” के रूप में कार्य करता है।
