Explanation / व्याख्या :-

Under various Central and State enactments, the High Court has been conferred with appellate as well as revisional jurisdiction. Any person convicted on a trial held by a Sessions Judge or an Additional Sessions Judge or on a trial held by any other Court in which a sentence of imprisonment for more than seven years [has been passed against him or against any other person convicted at the same trial]; may appeal to the High Court / विभिन्न केंद्रीय और राज्य अधिनियमों के तहत, उच्च न्यायालय को अपीलीय के साथ-साथ पुनरीक्षण क्षेत्राधिकार से सम्मानित किया गया है। सत्र न्यायाधीश या अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायाधीश द्वारा आयोजित मुकदमे में या किसी अन्य न्यायालय द्वारा आयोजित मुकदमे में दोषी ठहराया गया कोई भी व्यक्ति जिसमें सात साल से अधिक के कारावास की सजा दी गई है [उसके खिलाफ या किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के खिलाफ दोषी ठहराया गया है एक ही परीक्षण]; उच्च न्यायालय में अपील कर सकते हैं
