When Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose started the formation of a trained army of about 40,000 Indian men and women in South-East Asia with the help of Japan and named it Azad Hind Fauj, he was appointed as the supreme commander of the Azad Hind Fauj and commanded it in his hands. handed over. / आज़ाद हिन्द फौज का गठन पहली बार [मोहन सिंह]] द्वारा 29 अक्टूबर 1915 को अफगानिस्तान में हुआ था। मूल रूप से उस वक्त यह आजाद हिन्द सरकार की सेना थी, जिसका लक्ष्य अंग्रेजों से लड़कर भारत को स्वतंत्रता दिलाना था। जब दक्षिण-पूर्वी एशिया में जापान के सहयोग द्वारा नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस ने करीब 40,000 भारतीय स्त्री-पुरुषों की प्रशिक्षित सेना का गठन शुरू किया और उसे भी आजाद हिन्द फौज नाम दिया तो उन्हें आज़ाद हिन्द फौज का सर्वोच्च कमाण्डर नियुक्त करके उनके हाथों में इसकी कमान सौंप दी गई।
