According to the BBC report, according to environmentalists, insects growing in the polluted Yamuna river passing near the Taj are entering this monument on a large scale. / ताजमहल के पीले होने के पीछे तो एसिड रेन और प्रदूषण जैसे वजह हैं. वहीं ताजमहल का हरा रंग उसके पास यमुना में फैल रहा प्रदूषण है. बीबीसी की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार पर्यावरणविदों के मुताबिक ताज के पास से गुज़रने वाली प्रदूषित यमुना नदी में पनप रहे कीड़े इस स्मारक में बड़े पैमाने पर घुस रहे हैं.
