Total product (TP) is the total output a production unit can produce, using different combination of factors of production. When marginal product =0 (at point D in the figure), the total product is at its maximum (as seen at point C in the figure given below). Then en as the marginal product becomes negative, the total product starts going down. / कुल उत्पाद (टीपी) उत्पादन के कारकों के विभिन्न संयोजनों का उपयोग करके उत्पादन इकाई का कुल उत्पादन है। जब सीमांत उत्पाद =0 (आकृति में बिंदु D पर), कुल उत्पाद अपने अधिकतम पर होता है (जैसा कि नीचे दिए गए चित्र में बिंदु C पर देखा गया है)। फिर जैसे-जैसे सीमांत उत्पाद ऋणात्मक होता जाता है, कुल उत्पाद नीचे जाने लगता है।
