(1) Indica is an account of India that was authored by Megasthenes, an ancient Greek historian and diplomat. He was sent by the Hellenistic king Seleucus I on embassies to the Mauryan emperor Chandragupta. He gave the most complete account of India then known to the Greek world and was the source for work by the later historians. / (१) इंडिका भारत का एक लेख है जो मेगस्थनीज, एक प्राचीन यूनानी इतिहासकार और राजनयिक द्वारा लिखा गया था। उन्हें मौर्य सम्राट चंद्रगुप्त को दूतावासों पर हेलेनिस्टिक राजा सेल्यूकस प्रथम द्वारा भेजा गया था। उन्होंने भारत का सबसे पूरा लेखा जोखा तब ग्रीक दुनिया को जाना और बाद के इतिहासकारों द्वारा काम के लिए स्रोत था।
