Tripitaka is a traditional term used by various Buddhist sects to describe their various canons of scriptures. As the name suggests, a Tripitaka traditionally contains three “baskets” of teachings: a Sutra Pitaka, a Vinaya Pitaka and an Abhidharma Pitaka. Tripitaka is the three main categories of texts that make up the Buddhist canon. /  त्रिपिटक एक पारंपरिक शब्द है जिसका इस्तेमाल विभिन्न बौद्ध संप्रदायों द्वारा अपने विभिन्न धर्मग्रंथों का वर्णन करने के लिए किया जाता है। जैसा कि नाम से पता चलता है, एक त्रिपिटक में पारंपरिक रूप से शिक्षाओं की तीन “टोकरी” होती है: एक सूत्र पिटक, एक विनय पिटक और एक अभिधर्म पिटक। त्रिपिटक ग्रंथों की तीन मुख्य श्रेणियां हैं जो बौद्ध सिद्धांत बनाते हैं।
