K2 Cr2 O3 is an oxidizing agent. It oxidized the ethyl alcohol to give carboxylic acid i.e, Acetic acid. /K2 Cr2 O3 एक ऑक्सीकरण एजेंट है। इसने कार्बोलिक एसिड यानी एसिटिक एसिड देने के लिए एथिल अल्कोहल का ऑक्सीकरण किया।

The oxidation reaction in acidic medium is,
